The Warrior East of Eden
You are waking up to the fact that you have been living out of sync with your true design.
Like many men, you have been asleep. Unaware that the outcomes of your life are being shaped by unconscious patterns that you can change.
Your body fat levels, the texture of your relationships, the vibe in your home, your success or failure in your career, your net worth, and much, much more are all substantially governed by the habits, mindsets, thoughts, beliefs and behaviors that you repeat every day.
You’ve been lulled to sleep, believing that this is just your fate.
Your suffering is waking you up.
Love is shaking you from your slumber.
The suffering you’re experiencing is the dissonance between what you were created for, and the life you are living.
You have been created in the image of God.
Created by Love, for Love, and in Love.
You were created to live in union with God.
The God Image in you (your True Self) is not asleep. It is painfully aware of the ways in which you are not living the life you were created for.
Because the God Image in you (True Self) is made in, by, and for Love, it seeks your flourishing. It longs for you to truly LIVE.
And so it objects to the things that are killing you.
Gently at first, it starts to alert you to the things that are not as they could be.
If you remain in your slumber it will lovingly grab you by the shirt collar and throw you up against the wall.
You may try to drown the suffering with more booze, more porn, and more work, but if you persist, love will eventually throw you down to the ground.
Put you on your face and make the tears stream down into the synthetic pile of your suburban living room.

Your false self (ego consciousness) has been in the drivers seat for so long that you’re not even aware of the existence of the Imago Dei (Image of God) within you.
But love will not be stopped.
Your Imago Dei wakes you up at 3 AM and whispers to you.
Deep longings. Curiosity. Wonder.
And you feel the dissonance.
The falseness.
Something is not right.
You were created for Eden.
Let’s just pause and double-click on that.
You were created for Eden.
Your body, mind, soul, nervous system, endocrine system, digestive system, every cell in your body was created to walk in union with God, naked and unashamed.
And here we are, well to the East of Eden.
Dropped into a war zone we were not meant for.
Is it any wonder then, that you feel the dissonance deep in your being?
I have good news brother.
The path to Eden has been restored in Jesus.
Jesus came to show us the way to live in union with God, unafraid and unashamed.
The Tree of Life in the center of the garden?
That’s Jesus.
Only by being apprenticed to Jesus Christ in every cell of our being, every pattern of our life, can we learn to fight our way back to Eden.
And it is a war.
The enemy wants you dead.
The enemy knows that when you find your way back to Eden and you eat of the Tree of Life, that you are ALIVE eternally and he won’t be able to touch you.
He doesn’t want that.
He will distract you, lie to you, and do everything he can to keep you from becoming aware that the Tree of Life, Jesus Christ, lives in you.
The journey of The Good King is a journey back to Eden.
The journey back to Eden is an awakening to Jesus Christ, the Tree of Life, who has broken the curse of sin.
We are no longer locked out of the Garden.
So get up, dust yourself off, put on the whole armor of God, and begin to fight like Jesus fought.
Attune yourself to the rhythms of the Kingdom of God.
Pay attention to the false rhythms of the world - patterns of fear, lack, and shame.
Notice them. Confess them. Repent of this life of sin.
Change your thinking.
Upgrade your consciousness.
Put on the mind of Christ.
Awaken the Warrior of Love within.
Eat the fruit of the Tree of Life and live the eternal life you were created for.
It’s time to start really LIVING, fully alive.
Heaven isn’t merely some place you will go in the future.
Heaven and earth come together in Jesus, who LIVES in you.
Read that again.
Heaven and earth come together in Jesus, who lives in YOU.
When you wake up to this reality and begin to order your life according to this truth, the kingdom of heaven will flow from YOUR redeemed imagination.
From YOUR fingertips.
In YOUR home.
In YOUR marriage.
In YOUR career.
Christ living in YOU.
CHRIST living in you.
Living as ONE with THE ONE.
This is the life you were made for brother.
Accept nothing less.
